Brooklyn Beckham has responded on Instagram after Gordon Ramsay, a longtime friend of his father, openly critiqued him in an interview amid Brooklyn’s ongoing rift with Victoria and David Beckham.
Ramsay said he and Brooklyn still have a decent relationship, but he believes Brooklyn is “infatuated” with his wife, Nicola Peltz, and that this crush has influenced his decision to distance himself from his parents.
“He’s determined to chart his own course, and I respect that. It’s a healthy move to make,” Ramsay noted. “But remember where you came from.”

Ramsay added: “And eventually you’ll wake up one day without your mum or dad in your life, and you need to understand that. The penny will drop.”
“Brooklyn and I have exchanged messages here and there, and our bond remains solid. I love him; his heart is remarkable. But when you’re driven by love, it can feel all-consuming. Love can make you dizzy, but it will level out in time.”
In response, Brooklyn has unfollowed Ramsay, though Ramsay still follows him. Ramsay’s son Jack, Brooklyn’s childhood close friend, was also mentioned in his praise of the Beckhams’ parenting.
“I’ve seen firsthand how devoted David is as a father,” Ramsay said. “They’ve invested enormous energy into their kids, and I know how often they’ve helped pull Brooklyn out of trouble.” He added that it may take time for Brooklyn to realize what his parents mean to him.
Ramsay also weighed in on Brooklyn’s 2022 wedding controversy, when Brooklyn claimed Victoria danced “inappropriately” during his first dance with Nicola Peltz. Ramsay dismissed the allegation: “We were there. There was nothing salacious or inappropriate. Everyone was simply enjoying the celebration and dancing.”
Although Brooklyn has blocked several family members on social media, he has not blocked Ramsay, and Ramsay continues to follow Brooklyn.
